Road at Tuas Viaduct repaired

Media Replies 23 Oct 2023 road safety Tuas Viaduct

We thank Mr Liang Wenle for his feedback and for taking the initiative to remove the dislodged metal plate he came across on the Tuas Viaduct.  We have since inspected and repaired the affected section.

LTA carries out regular inspections of major roads and any safety concern that we come across during these inspections is attended to quickly.  As fast-moving heavy vehicles ply the Tuas Viaduct regularly, parts of the viaduct expansion joints may wear off quicker than usual.

We appreciate the help of all motorists to keep our roads safe and encourage those who notice road defects to report these via the OneService mobile application.
