Joint News Release by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) & SMRT - Service Adjustments for Bukit Panjang LRT from 14 November 2024 to 31 October 2025 to Support Renewal Works
Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will end one hour earlier at 10.30pm every Thursday to Sunday, from 14 November 2024 till 31 October 2025 (except on public holidays). This is to facilitate upgrading of the BPLRT signalling system, as well as the testing of new and retrofitted Light Rail Vehicles. For more details, kindly refer to the attached news release.

Thomson – East Coast Line 4 to Welcome Commuters from 23 June 2024
As announced at the Ministry of Transport’s Committee of Supply debate today, the Thomson-East Coast Line Stage 4 (TEL4) will commence passenger service on 23 June this year. TEL4 will improve accessibility for commuters by linking Singapore’s newest rail line with the East Coast region. Please refer to the attached news release for more details.

Service Adjustments for Bukit Panjang LRT in August and October 2023 to Support Renewal Works
Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will be adjusted in August and October to facilitate ongoing system renewal works. These adjustments comprise early closures over two weekends in August and a full Sunday closure in October. For more details, please refer to the attached news release.

Joint News Release by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and SMRT - Progress Update on Renewal of Bukit Panjang LRT
LTA has reviewed the current transport services in Bukit Panjang and will implement a number of changes to further enhance service. First, the existing peak-hour bus service BPS1 will be upgraded to a new full-day bus Service 976 from 10 November 2019. Second, the BPLRT will operate on one loop (counter-clockwise loop on Service B via Petir Station) during off-peak hours starting from 1 December 2019.
