The Multi-Ministry Taskforce announced an elevated set of safe distancing measures, as a circuit breaker to pre-empt the trend of increasing local transmission of COVID-19, effective from 7 April to 4 May 2020 (dates inclusive).

2      With the closure of motor vehicle dealerships and showrooms during this period, COE bidding exercises in the month of April will be suspended. LTA will continue to monitor the situation closely and update on subsequent bidding exercises. Dealers may use their existing stock of Temporary COEs (TCOEs) to register new vehicles.
