The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has completed its latest review of Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates. Based on LTA’s monitoring of traffic conditions in January 2021, traffic speeds have remained generally optimal on all arterial roads and most expressways, except for some time periods on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), Central Expressway (CTE) and Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE).
2 As more people travel to and from their workplaces, traffic volume has been building up during weekday peak hours. This has led to congestion at specific locations along the AYE, CTE and KPE during peak periods.
3 To manage congestion at these locations during peak periods, ERP rates will be adjusted by $1.00 with effect from 22 February 2021 at the following gantries on the AYE, CTE and KPE during the specified time periods:
