    Ongoing improvements to tactile tiles

    We thank Mr Wang for his feedback on tactile tiles. Since April 2024, we have started implementing an improved tactile tile layout developed in collaboration with Social Service Agencies such as the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped and Guide Dogs Association. For more details, please refer to the attached reply.

    Researching on the alternative designs and materials for tactile tiles

    We thank Mr Long Jidong and Ms Lin Qiting for their feedback on the tactile tiles located before pedestrian crossings on 10 May 2023 and 15 May 2023 respectively. We share similar priorities in enhancing safety and accessibility for pedestrians. Tactile paving plays an important role in making our streets safer and more accessible for pedestrians with visual impairments. For more details, please refer to the attached reply.
